Jessica and Eric choose to tie the knot at the exact same spot where Eric proposed to Jessica (swoon worthy, right?), in Beverly, MA. The spot? A beautiful park, right on the water, with views of swans and sailboats – perfection! It was a hot day, but these picturesque views made up for it
Congratulations again, Jessica & Eric XoXo
Jessica & Eric’s Seaside Wedding

•June 10, 2013 • Leave a CommentCasey and Nick shared a nautical wedding reception on the waterfront at the Boston Harbor Hotel. There was plenty of glitz and glam, from the bride’s dress and matching rhinestone studded heels to the crystal chandeliers and oysters. But the best part of this wedding was the people. Although formal, the reception had a great, laid back feel of love and genuine happiness for this couple. Oh ya, and plenty of Natty Lights for the groom (his favorite)! Awesome people, awesome time, awesome experience – thank you again for letting me share your special day with you – it was beautiful
Elyse’s Maternity Shoot
•June 6, 2013 • Leave a CommentThe concept for this shoot was simplistic, outdoor maternity – all about the belly – and in fact it was, but there was also something very classic and almost, old Hollywood about it. I love its uniqueness!
And of course, it wouldn’t be a maternity shoot without at least one classic, exposed bump, silhouette
Elyse is having a girl, just like her mother and her grandmother did
These porcelain ballerina slippers have been passed down from one generation to the next and now Elyse’s little girl will also have them in her nursery. Such a sweet family heirloom!
Congratulations again, Elyse – you look stunning. Pregnancy wears you well
Your little girl will be here before you know it. I can’t wait to meet her!
Ashley & Nick’s Engagement Session
•May 21, 2013 • Leave a CommentAshley and Nick’s first date was Nick’s High School Junior Prom (adorable, right?). All these years later, they’re still going strong. Last February, Nick proposed to Ashley with a dazzling ring. They will be married in 3 short months in Gloucester, MA where Nick’s traditional, Italian, fishing family is from.
Although Gloucester in and of itself is beautiful and quite picturesque (especially for an engagement session), Ashley wanted something more dramatic; something different. What more perfect place than Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich? It is quite possibly one of the most exquisite places I have ever seen in all of Massachusetts. Just when you think you’ve seen all this place has to offer, you find another hidden nook with great architecture and another storybook view. It was not only such a great place to shoot, but to visit on this warm, sunny day. It certainly served Ashley’s wish for a dramatic setting!
I loved that we were able to capture not only some formal, traditional engagement shots, but some more relaxed, informal ones as well. These two really came out of their shell towards the end of the shoot!
What a wonderful day; what a wonderful experience. I wish you both nothing but the best. Thank you for including me on such a special day in your lives.

Eyelash extensions have gained tremendous popularity over the course of the past few years and there are a number of enhancements to be gained from such a service. The dramatic length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes is amazing, yet they look so real, extensions are hard to spot! Blink! owner, Clarice, wanted to be able to show her potential clients just what a difference extension can make… and this is where I come in

•March 14, 2013 • 2 CommentsOn a VERY cold winter day, Casey and Nick decided to make it official at Boston City Hall. I arrived early (in my typical fashion) and took a walk around. I was very familiar with its location and surroundings, but I had actually never been inside the City Hall building itself. After doing a little internet research beforehand, I knew there was an impressive set of stairs, both inside and outside, so I wanted to utilize those. The building itself is completely concrete – inside and out – I’m talking walls, ceilings, floors, everything (not exactly a photographer’s dream!) – very institutional. Luckily for me, Casey was just as laid back and easy-going in person as she had been all the times we’d spoke on the phone and via email. She was a trooper and totally willing to do what it took to get a couple great outdoor shots, despite the fact that it was about 5 degrees outside
This was my very first City Hall ceremony, so I was unsure as to what to expect. When Casey & Nick first arrived, much like every couple who gets married, they had to stand in line and get their marriage license. Then we headed up to the City Clerk’s office where all the ceremonies take place. I figured we had a wait ahead of us, judging by how many brides were there, but boy was I wrong! We were ushered right in and with no ado, rings and paperwork were presented, and the ceremony was underway! What a cool thing - thank you again to Casey and Nick for having me there and sharing this new experience with me
