I met Jessica at a bridal/special event show this Spring. We hit it off immediately. She is so fun and energetic. She introduced me to her daughter and let me know that she was expecting her second child this summer. She had seen my work and was interested in getting a family maternity shoot done when she was further along. We vowed to work together and come summer, we met up on a very hot, Sunday afternoon to do the shoot. Jessica, although overheating and very pregnant, did so awesome and brought that same great energy! She was a trooper. I had such a fun day with her and her family. We laughed the whole time! They are such great, genuinely nice, people. You can feel the love as soon as you meet them. I think you can see that in the pictures
Jessica has since given birth to her little girl, who I hope to soon meet! Congratulations again, Jessica XoXo

I haven’t done a personal post in a while, so I figured I would blog about my most recent trip to Applecrest Farm Market!
At the Market, you can not only shop for fresh fruit and vegetables, but pick your own as well. In addition, to the Market, they also have a Creamery and a store which sells all locally produced products and crafts, like hand painted pumpkins.
The section I most enjoy is the “PYO Flowers”. There are little fields full of flowers for you to choose from. I love spending time walking through them and appreciating all the different types and colors to choose from.
Right outside the PYO flower area is a visitor’s map with pushpins, where people can mark where they are from. It’s amazing how many people from all over the world travel to this farm!

Torte di Venezia’s owner, Karen Venezia, was asked to make a very special cake at the request of a local celebrity of ours and I was fortunate enough to score the gig of photographing it!
Dave and Nancy Marciano’s son, Joseph, was graduating and what kind of cake do you make for a star on National Geographic’s show, Wicked Tuna? Well, you make a tuna cake :) And yes, Joe’s graduation party, will be featured on the show!
Dave is the captain and owner of the boat, Hard Merchandise, and is a Gloucester tuna fisherman.
Karen is a very talented cake artist, who was the perfect choice for the job! The detail she decorates cakes with is unreal.
You’ve seen Karen mentioned on my blog a couple times in the past. We frequently work together, but she really outdid herself this time! Check out her amazing work on this Wicked Tuna cake….

Shannon got hitched this past weekend! But before she did, she asked me to shoot her bridal boudoir for a surprise gift for her future hubby (which, from what I hear, absolutely loved his gift)
This shoot was awesome on so many levels. It was not only one of the sexiest boudoirs I’d ever shot, but it had so much versatility to it. In one series of photos, Shannon is the ultimate seductress in a black lace number looking phenomenally sexy. In another, she is soft and romantic, in all white lace – the ultimate bride. Yet in another, she is fun and flirty in the “Future Mrs.” booty shorts, lifting weights and giggling thinking about her fitness conscious fiance!
Shannon, you’re a great girl – I had so much fun shooting you – totally laid back and easy-going – open to the sometimes hysterical process of boudoir posing :) Congratulations again and thank you for letting me post a few of these beautiful shots XoXo

What’s better than a mother’s love? :) I absolutely adored my time with Elyse and Connor during our night at the beach. To watch them interact, the way she held and kissed him and to witness those little moments that she has with him when they are usually alone were absolutely adorable. Such a gorgeous night with soft sand and cotton candy skies to top it off! Check out this beautiful newborn/mommy shoot:
